All of the identification information is obtained by scanning a microcode or QR Code attached to a pet's collar. Or, a QR coded card in the pet owner's wallet. Or, a QR coded magnet attached to a client's refridgerator. Or, to all of these. Each time the code is scanned, the latest most up-to-date information is displayed. The dynamic system functions in real-time anywhere in the world where there is access to the Internet.

Each time a pet is put under medication, the veterinarian enters the medicine and administration schedule into this system. The pet owner or care taker can simply scan the pet's QR code to see if it is time to administer the next dose of medicine. After adiministering the medicine, click the "administer button" to notify the system of its' completion. If the scheduled administration time was missed, the "administer button" will show as "Late" in red. If late, the system will adjust based on the proximity to the naxt schedule of administration and display the current action to take. After all of a specific medicine has been consumed, it will no longer appear when the QR code is scanned.

Each pet has a unique QR Code which can be created multiple times and attached to different media. This web application creates the QR code and allows the veterinarian to print it on a label. It's also possible to have it encoded on other material that can be attached to a pet collar. This universal code is unique to each pet. Optionally, a pet can have our unique microchip embedded which will perform in the exact same way as a QR Code.

With a scan of a pet's QR Code, an optional button will appear for reporting the pet as lost. Touching the button will send pet's identification data to the LP-ALERT.COM lost pet website.

Anyone finding a lost pet can go to the LP-ALERT.COM lost pet website to see if the pet is listed with all of the owner's contact data.

QR Codes can be scanned with any camera enabled device that is connected to the Internet. There are many free QR Code scanning applications that can be or are already installed on smart phones, tablets, desktops or laptop computers. It's important to note the scanning device must have the capability to display the pet's information on the scanning device or display unit connected to the scanning device such as an iPhone or desktop computer.

A convenient feature offers a pet owner the option of paying an invoice remotely. Service/work order completion triggers an email to owner that pet is ready to be discharged. The owner merely clicks on a link in the email to view or print the invoice. There is a PayPal "PayNow" button that the pet owner can click to complete payment. The veterinarian business will be notified immediately when payment has been completed. This should shorten the pet discharge time.

This application has an option to send next appointment email reminders to the pet's owner.

Veterinarians in other locations can retrieve critical information quickly from the pet's primary veterinarian. It's as if the primary care provider was traveling with the pet and hand-carrying all of the pet's medical history. As necessary, it may require prior approval of the pet owner.

Animal shelters, veterinarian businesses and animal hospitals can now use this system to store all documents related to a pet/animal in this system's cloud repository. Documents can be easily uploaded and retrieved at any time. This lookup convenience is also a beneftit to the reduction of paper document storage.

The usage of this system by animal shelters and veterinarian businesses provides a builtin method of transfering animal identification and medical information to a new primary care provider. This can be performed easily and quickly without the need for mounds of paperwork.
